12 June 2012 - Ukraine and the International Labour Organization have signed in Geneva a country program on decent work.

The importance of this step was discussed with our colleague Olga Bogdanova by the Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko: "We`re primarily talking about the experience, which is interesting for us: the experience of the labor legislation, the experience of the legislation that regulates employment. Which is very important - social legislation that protects primarily the most vulnerable segments of the population. The experience of other countries, the experience of other economies, the experience of tripartite consultation between employers, trade unions and the government - this is very important for us. "

Mr. Tihipko said that unemployment in Ukraine is reduced, but the youth unemployment rate is still very high - 20%.
